After this ([link]) incident, I believe that poor Emile would have developed a certain discomfort around young girls. Especially the one that commited the past injustice. Lacking the attention span to remember her breakfast let alone a past victim of tormet, The Mayor (called Twerp in the above link) can't help but look confused. Inez and Woody were just NECCESSARY. The Mayor is technically as tall as Emile since he's like... 5'1" or something, but I drew her shorter so it's more pleasing to the eye.
I was looking through my old gallery at taylorpisthy15109 (please don't go and look. IT'S NIGHTMARISH) and I saw my old fanart of Emile and thought "Wow, I could do better!"
So I did.
I tried a lot of new things with this. For one, I didn't traditionally ink like I usually do. I scanned the pencils and went over them in photoshop, and I actually really like the results. The inking looks clean. I also tried a different way of coloring, and I think it looks quite nice. Especially on Emile's head and his scarf.
God I just want to flippin' marry Emile. HE'S SO DAMN CUTE.
Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 10 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
Please FULL VIEW all these amazing pieces of ART. Visit the artists pages and give them a :+fav and your support. Thank you for taking the time........
